Improper handling is damaging to the costume. After each use the costumes are washed, ironed, folded and treated in a special way. Most operations are performed manually. Woollen, fur and cloth pieces, as well as costumes with running colours will be dry-cleaned. Disinfestation is undertaken on a regular basis.
